Cask Islay is a small batch release from A.D. Rattray from an undisclosed distillery on the island. A whisky that will entice both Islay fans and be a great place for neophytes to start. Nose: Warm & fiery, roasting peat kiln, some citrus notes after the smoke. Palate: Oily, burnt toffee, juicy barley and rich peat smoke. Finish: Lively, peaty and full of flavour.
